Admissions

The Process

1. Initial Intake Interview and Scheduling a Parent Tour

Families who express interest in our Intensive Applied Behavior Analytic (ABA) programs will initially be interviewed by telephone. We will ask questions about your child’s current performance, specifically in the areas of communication and social behavior. Next, we will invite you into the center for a tour with our Admissions Director.

2. The Parent Tour and Admissions Paperwork

Our Admissions Director, Erik Petersen, MA., BCBA., LABA will meet with you to discuss our center- based programs and to answer any questions you may have. Parents and guardians are asked to bring diagnostic reports as well as your child’s insurance card.

3. Requesting Authorization for Assessment and Completing Assessment for Services

Once, your insurance company has authorized the initial assessment, The Director of Clinical Services will reach out to you to schedule the assessment. We assess each child in a variety of different environments including, home, school and the center. The assessment process requires multiple visits across numerous days.

4. Receiving Approval and Beginning Services

Upon completing and submitting the assessment, the Director of Clinical Services will notify you when your child is approved to receive ABA services as well as the number of treatment hours approved. We have an open enrollment process throughout the year should openings occur. If there are no openings available, your child may be offered a spot on our wait list.

Please contact Erik Petersen, MA., BCBA., LABA, Admissions Director @ 508-997-1311 if you would like to schedule a visit.
